CSIR UGC Net Exam June 2024 Application Form

All the eligible candidates can now fill out the CSIR UGC NET June 2024 application form on the official website before 21st May 2024 (11:50 pm).  Candidates can submit their application form with a late fee until 23rd May 2024 (11:59 p.m.). The application form has to be filled out by candidates in two parts – Registration and Application. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria to fill out their CSIR NET Application Form 2024.

Important Dates

The application process started online on 01 May 2024. The last date to apply for this recruitment is 31 May 2024, and the last date to pay application fees online is 31 May 2024. Application Fees

The application fee for General category candidates is Rs. 1150/-, for EWS, OBC (NCL) candidates, it is Rs. 600/-, and for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third Gender category candidates, it is Rs. 325/-. You can pay the application fees using Debit or Credit Cards, Net Banking, and other online payment modes.

CSIR UGC Net Exam June 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the CSIR NET for the June 2024 Session are available below. An individual may check the details of their educational qualification and age limit here.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should possess a Master’s degree or equivalent degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• Candidates enrolled in MSc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ BTech/ BPharma/ MBBS as of the last date of application are also eligible to apply under the Result Awaited (RA) category.
• BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or those enrolled in an integrated MS-PhD program with the same percentage criteria are eligible.
• Candidates possessing only a Bachelor’s degree are eligible for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) only, not a Lectureship (LS) or an Assistant Professor.

Age Limit:

• For JRF: The upper age limit is 28 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/Third gender/PwD/female applicants (up to 5 years) and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants (up to 3 years).
• For Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit.
