UGC NET June 2024 Eligibility Criteria
If you are from the General / EWS category, you scored at least 55% marks (without rounding off) and for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender, 50% in your Master’s Degree or an equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission), and you meet this criteria.
OR
Candidates qualifying for the NET (National Eligibility Test) based on a four-year undergraduate degree can apply online for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and admission to a Ph.D. program. However, they cannot apply for the position of Assistant Professor. To qualify, they must have secured at least 75% total marks in their four-year undergraduate degree.
Age Limit
- For JRF: Maximum age Not more than 30 years as of 01 June 2024.
- For Assistant Professor: Admission in Ph.D: There is no maximum Age Limit.
